Well done to the Cashel CS U.14 Hurlers who today qualified for the Rice Cup Preliminary 1/4 final courtesy of reaching the final of their group in James Stephens GAA grounds in Kilkenny today.
There was an early start but the boys wasted no time securing good wins over Wexford CBS, Mullingar CBS and Youghal to qualify for the final with CBS Kilkenny. Kilkenny CBS won a cracking final game just edging out CCS by a point, 1-9 to 2-5. All's not lost however and CCS will have one team in the Rice Cup last 16 with two more teams lining up in the Rice Cup Shield in the weeks ahead.
Well done to all these young men especially the strong contingent of CKC boys involved 👏👏👏
